Everything in this guide is background for reading your own plan — these are the steps [Vastu Studio](/studio) walks you through to do that.

Four connected panels for floor-plan upload, north alignment, boundary tracing, and analysis
The Vastu workflow moves from the source plan to a checked spatial analysis.

Direction Checker

Confirms the exact direction your home or room faces, so every reading that follows is measured from your real North, not an assumption.

  • Confirm true North against your floor plan
  • See the measured direction of your entrance, windows, and key areas
  • Apply every principle in this guide from your actual directions

Entrance Calculator

Identifies your entrance pada and ruling Devta once your entrance is marked on the plan.

  • Mark your entrance on the traced boundary
  • Get the entrance pada and ruling Devta automatically
  • Read targeted guidance for that entrance — see Part 6

Pada Finder

Overlays the 64 or 81 Pada grid on your traced property, so you can see exactly which pada each room occupies.

  • Trace your property boundary
  • The grid overlays automatically, aligned to your confirmed North
  • See which pada your entrance, bedroom, and kitchen occupy — and what each one calls for

Vastu Analysis Report

A full, room-by-room reading of your property — the point everything else in this guide builds toward.

  • Name your rooms and confirm the geometry
  • Get findings for every room against direction, pada, and Devta
  • Get prioritized remedies — what matters most, first

How to Get Started

You don't need to implement everything at once. Vastu is a practice, not a checklist.

  • Understand your space — confirm your actual directions first. This is the foundation.
  • Analyze your entrance — many Vastu practitioners review this area first, including its direction, pada, clearance, and light.
  • Clean and clear — before you make changes, clear clutter. This alone shifts energy significantly.
  • Identify doshas — look for obvious imbalances: kitchen in the wrong direction, a blocked Brahmasthan.
  • Apply priority remedies — fix the biggest issues first. A blocked entrance matters more than a shelf in the wrong place.
  • Add rituals — one simple daily ritual activates your conscious participation and amplifies the physical changes.
  • Observe and adjust — live with the changes for a few weeks, notice what shifts, and adjust as needed.
Vastu works through you, not despite you — Your awareness and intention matter — you're not following rules blindly, you're working with energy consciously.
